14 X 5 MAPLE STRAIGHT-STAVE

Description

14 x 5 Maple STRAIGHT-STAVE model snare drums at 1″ thick.

This is my first time building a batch of identical drums.

The aim here is to increase my efficiency and be able to reduce the price point.
This is the same hardware, same high quality wood, same high end Italian clear satin finish as any regular AVA build.
No corners cut to save you money, just better use of my time.

The shells have a 3/16 round over to inner 30 degree bearing edges.
All staves are tongue and grooved together.
Triple flanged 2.3mm hoops.
20 strand chromed wires. Standard throw.
Mini modern double ended tube lugs.
Remo Ambassador heads

There are only 7 of these available.

These pack a serious sonic punch!
The 1″ thick shell aids projection and volume, it has a piccolo vibe but the 5″ depth adds extra low end.
