Peruvian walnut shell with maple stave re-rings. Stable-Stave model

This construction has a thin piece of flat horizontal grained maple wood sandwiched in between the vertical grained stave shell and stave re-rings.

Hoops are Hickory/Peru Walnut/Hickory construction with phenolic strike plates installed all around the batter side hoop.
