13 x 7.5 Roasted (Thermally Modified) Birch, STRAIGHT-STAVE model, at 15mm thick.

This is batch #3! There are 9 of these shells available.

The aim here is to increase my efficiency and be able to reduce the price point.
This is the same hardware, same high quality wood, same high end Italian clear satin finish as any regular AVA build.
No corners cut to save you money, just better use of my time.

The shells have a 3/16 round over to inner 30 degree bearing edges.
All staves are tongue and grooved together.
Die-cast hoops.
20 strand brass wires. Standard throw.
Mini modern double ended tube lugs.
REMO heads

These pack a serious sonic punch!
Plenty of lows and highs, and mids too from these shells!

This Birch has been thermally modified.
This is done through the process of Torrefaction. The wood is heated in vacuum chamber void of oxygen.
Many high end luthiers use this wood for custom shop guitar builds due to its incredible stability and sonic properties. Check out the demo below, sounds incredible!
